David McNett, Chief Information Officer
McNett is a founding employee of FlightAware and has served as Chief Information Officer since 2005. McNett brings over 20 years of experience as a technology developer and manager of massive, disparate mission critical applications and projects. McNett is a worldwide technologist with experience managing enterprise data applications on six continents at companies such as Mercedes-Benz, Kaiser Permanente, and NTT Data/DoCoMo. McNett regularly serves as a panel member and speaker at major technology conferences. He was a founder of distributed.net, which pioneered distributed computing in the 1990s, and continues to serve as the President and Chairman. McNett holds an FAA pilot certificate.
