Mark Duell, Vice President, Operations

Duell is a founding employee of FlightAware in 2005 and has served as Vice President, Operations from 2008 to the present. In this role, his primary focus is engineering and leading the global operations of FlightAware technology, commercial projects, and advertising operations.

Duell brings experience in concept development, design implementation, and technical analysis from engineering positions at the Air Force Research Laboratory and GE Aviation. Duell has a strong background in the aviation business and is a published author on the subject of aerospace engineering. He earned a BSc. Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University

Duell holds an FAA pilot certificate.
